Alok Nath has been part of several popular Hindi movies. He used to be known as "the refined father of Bollywood." However, after a number of women alleged against him following the #MeToo scandal in 2018, he has hardly made any public appearances. Recently, Rajesh Puri, who is one of Alok Nath's childhood friends and an actor himself, revealed what happened to Alok Nath post-scandal.

According to Money Control, Rajesh Puri recently revealed what happened to Alok Nath in an interview. In his interview, he stated that Alok Nath has withdrawn from the film industry. Moreover, Alok Nath is leading a quiet and secluded life, rarely stepping out of his home.

He said that when the #MeToo allegations surfaced against him, everyone was shocked because he was known as a "cultured" actor. After the allegations, he completely distanced himself.

He has virtually disappeared from the industry and mostly confines himself to his home. Rajesh admitted that his old friend may have made mistakes. He said that Alok is a very pure-hearted person.

He has completely changed now. He no longer drinks alcohol. He is a very loving person, but he had two issues: firstly, he could not tolerate anything that upset him, and secondly, alcohol. He used to drink very dangerously, and it affected him.

Rajesh Puri further stated that he never saw Alok Nath misbehave during the filming of films when they worked together. However, his behavior would change after drinking. He used to become very aggressive and uncontrollable. Alok Nath has decided to stay away from acting and now rarely interacts with people.

Despite repeated invitations, he always refuses. I tell him, "Come home, let's meet at our farmhouse," but he simply shrugs it off. Sometimes he's very pleasant on the phone, but often he feels like a good talent is being wasted.

He doesn't accept offers and says he works from home. I don't think he's working much right now because he's deeply hurt. He's turned to spirituality in recent years and is seeking peace and guidance during this time of his life.

What's done is done. There's no smoke without fire. He regrets it, and whatever happened wasn't good. Now he doesn't want to face anyone. We both follow a guru, and Alok has also started following him. He came under the guidance of the Guru, but even when the satsang took place, he did not come.
