According to an IANS report, Anil Sharma recalled the hard work put in by Ameesha during the shooting of the character Sakina in Gadar. He told Ameesha, "You have rehearsed every Sakina scene with me countless times."
Anil said, "There was a scene in the film with the cleric where you say, 'I can't even die by consuming poison, because I know that Tara will come and find me and call me.'" You performed this scene so brilliantly that everyone on the set was in tears and everyone applauded.
Anil Sharma praised Ameesha's beauty, saying that she still looks the same as when he first met her. It feels as if time has stopped for him. He described Ameesha as a part of his family.
