Actor Govinda has paid a visit to the famous temple of Shri Jagannath located in Puri, India, to seek the blessings of Lord Jagannath. Pictures have surfaced on social networking sites.

After visiting the Jagannath Temple, Govinda expressed his happiness and told ANI, "I feel very good coming here. I come here every one or two years, but today I am very thankful to God for this visit." On this occasion, Govinda was seen wearing a simple red kurta and white pajamas.

The Shri Jagannath Temple is one of the most famous Hindu temples in India. It is dedicated to Lord Jagannath, a form of Lord Vishnu, and millions of devotees from across the country visit here. The Shri Jagannath Temple is located in the coastal city of Puri in the Indian state of Odisha. It is one of the four major pilgrimage sites (Char Dham) for Hindus. This magnificent temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, his brother Balabhadra, and sister Subhadra, dates back to the 12th century. It is also known as 'Shri Kshetra'.
