Commenting on their divorce, Mouni Roy posted a message on Wednesday, where she appealed not to invade her privacy. Mouni Roy took to Instagram today, Thursday, to confirm that she has separated from her husband Sooraj. She says that she and Sooraj have decided to separate amicably.

In a joint Instagram post, Mouni Roy and Sooraj wrote, "We are deeply saddened by the unnecessary intrusion of some people into our personal lives. We want to share that we have decided to separate. We are taking the necessary time to resolve this matter privately and amicably. Attempts have been made to sensationalize our personal lives, spreading fabricated stories and outright lies. These statements do not reflect the true nature of our relationship."

Mouni further wrote, "After careful consideration of our changing personal priorities, we have mutually decided to move forward, respecting and understanding each other. At this time, our focus is on managing this period thoughtfully and privately. We will strive to preserve our friendship in the future."
