Southern actor Naga Chaitanya is again in the news regarding his separation from Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Chaitanya and Samantha got married in 2017 and got separated in 2021. Naga Chaitanya has approached the Delhi High Court to protect himself from online content. He alleged that some posts were wrongly portraying him and affecting his reputation. He took legal action as there had been many rumors regarding his separation and cheating. Temporary protection has been provided by the Delhi High Court to Naga Chaitanya for violating his personality rights.
According to ANI, Naga filed a petition in court alleging misuse of his name, photo, face, and identity on digital platforms. This included claims that he was unfaithful to his ex-wife. He alleges that several products misuse his identity. He has filed a lawsuit seeking protection from all these claims.
The case was heard by Justice Jyoti Singh of the Delhi High Court on May 29. During the hearing, his lawyer informed the court that some online content claimed he ruined Samantha's career. The lawyer told the court, "This is trolling; it's not fair criticism."
Naga Chaitanya, speaking on Raw Talks with VK about his divorce, said, "We live with mutual respect. I don't see why I need to give any further explanation. We are both moving forward and living our own lives."
After his divorce from Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Naga Chaitanya married Sobhita Dhulipala in December 2024. Later, Samantha married film producer Raj Nidimoru in December 2025.
