Priyanka Chopra, who is an international star now, will shortly make an appearance in the upcoming movie Varanasi, which is being directed by S.S. Rajamouli. Priyanka has appreciated the director’s work. In this movie, she is making a comeback to Bollywood; the movie will release in the theaters in the coming April.

Speaking on the 'Hey Jonas' podcast, Priyanka said, "I’ve been working on this ('Varanasi') for about 14 months. S.S. Rajamouli is known for taking his time to make films. He approached me for this project, and it is a massive adventure that spans the globe and time itself. It has taken a while, but I am very excited about it. I get to do several spectacular slow-motion jumps in it."

In a recent conversation with *Variety*, Priyanka remarked, "It is unlike any film I have done before. We travel to Antarctica. The worlds Rajamouli creates are incredibly grand. No one else has a vision quite like his. That is why I, too, am excited to see more."

Priyanka also shared what she told the director before signing the film: "I said, 'Listen, I’m coming back to Indian cinema. I have to do a dance song. I mean, you simply have to make me dance.'"

Rajamouli recently revealed that the film's key action sequences have already been completed, and shooting is expected to wrap up by October. The film is scheduled for theatrical release in April 2027. Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran will play key roles in this, alongside Priyanka Chopra.
