Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga has touched the hearts of many. There are videos posted where people are seen sobbing after having watched the movie. These videos have gone viral. Of these, there is one particular video that has attracted lots of attention, and that is the video of the sobbing man meeting the director Imtiaz Ali and Vedang Raina.

This video sparked off much debate. People think the man had been hired to sob as a marketing tactic for the movie. Also, it seems Vedang was laughing in the video.

The man seen in the video has come forward and denied these allegations. Dushyant Arora, a lawyer and columnist, responded to the allegations, saying, "I'm the same person. No one hired me. And Vedang was also emotional at the time, with tears in his eyes."

A social media user asked him, "Who died, anyway?" To this, Dushyant responded emotionally, "My grandmother. Just like the grandparents in the film have Alzheimer's, my grandmother also had it. It's barely been a month... Thank you. I know you were being sarcastic, but never mind."

"I'm Back," directed by Imtiaz Ali, was released in theaters on June 12, 2026. The film stars Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari, Vedang Raina, and Naseeruddin Shah.
