Regarding this, she says, "Geetu Mohandas and I worked together on a film 20 years ago. When she called me for this film, I wasn't very confident because I'm very cautious when choosing a film with multiple actors. I have many doubts.

I said, 'Maybe I wouldn't want to do this film.' Geetu asked me many questions. I told her to come and tell me the story. As soon as she told me the story, I realized who this woman was, who this director was, whom we hadn't seen before."

Nayanthara broke another rule by attending the film's trailer launch. She said, "I don't attend promotional events. I'm not that good at these things, so I stay away from them. I came because Yash called me for the film's trailer launch."
