The South superstar, Nagarjuna, has commenced shooting for his hundredth Telugu film. Tentatively named 'King 100', the film has Tabu, who stars in Bollywood, as its leading lady. It is indeed a reunion of sorts, since it was long back that Tabu and Nagarjuna had worked together.

Tabu shared a photo on her Instagram, announcing her involvement and the start of the film. Tabu shared a photo of a clapperboard with the film's title placed on a black chair. She captioned it, "And we begin King 100." Tabu also included Nagarjuna's name in the hashtag and mentioned the makers.

"King 100" marks the return of Tabu and Nagarjuna after nearly 30 years. Previously, Nagarjuna and Tabu appeared together in the 1996 romantic film "Ninne Pelladata." Audiences are excited to see them together in a film after three decades. However, no further details have been revealed about the cast and crew of "King 100," nor the film's story.

On the work front, Tabu recently appeared in Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan's horror-comedy film "Bhoot Bangla." Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Vamika Gabbi also play important roles. The film is currently in theaters.

Nagarjuna was last seen in Rajinikanth's Tamil action film "Coolie," which released last year. His last Hindi film is director Ayan Mukerji's "Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva," which is slated for release in 2022.
