The makers of Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor's upcoming film "Peddi" have made a major decision. A special update related to the film was announced for Monday, but due to the death of actor Dharmendra, it has been postponed. The makers themselves informed about it through a post.

The makers of "Peddi," directed by Buchi Babu Sana, posted on Instagram. He stated, "We are deeply saddened to hear of Dharmendra ji's passing. The era he defined can never be replaced. In this time of grief and in his honor, the announcement scheduled for 4:05 pm today is being postponed. Team 'Peddi' expresses its heartfelt condolences and prayers to the entire family."

The film will be released in theaters on March 27, 2026. The film will be released in all languages. In addition to Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, 'Peddi' also stars Divyendu Sharma, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. The film is being directed by Buchi Babu Sana. It is being produced by Sukumar Writings, Maithri Movie Makers, and T-Series, jointly under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas. Oscar-winner A.R. Rahman is composing the music, with Ratnavelu handling the cinematography, Kolla Avinash handling the art direction, and Naveen Nooli handling the editing.
