Screenwriter and lyricist Javed Akhtar is set to receive the Shiksha 'O' Anusandhan Sahitya Samman for the year 2025 for his contributions to Indian cinema and literature. The award will be presented to him on November 29th.
According to PTI, the Shiksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) Sahitya Samman will be presented to Javed Akhtar on November 29th at the inauguration of a two-day literary festival. The award includes a cash prize of ₹7 lakh, a citation, a silver statue of Goddess Saraswati, and a shawl.
Gayatribala Panda, director of the two-day Shiksha 'O' Anusandhan Sahitya Mahotsav, shared details about the award. She explains that this award is given every year to Indian litterateurs writing in any language recognized by the Constitution.
