There is a lot of heated debate in the movie world about how much it costs to hire a star. Many have expressed their views about how expensive it is to hire a star, and this has impacted their budgets. Now, actor Nana Patekar has also expressed his opinion on the matter. He also stated that there is no real connection between actors and directors these days.

During a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Nana Patekar, regarding the staff expenses of stars, said that this is because in the past, you could talk directly to a star, but now that is no longer possible.

Today, to meet a star, we have to go through many people. To meet a star, you first have to meet a hundred people. You have to give the star the script, and then they dictate whether you should make the film or not. Releasing on OTT is easier than that.

Nana also discussed the lack of a genuine relationship between actors and directors in this generation. He said, "I often ask Prakash Jha if the actor called him, but then he tells me that the relationship between him and the actor is limited to the film. Prakash tells me that only Amitabh Bachchan and I call him."

The people accompanying stars and the expenses incurred on them have become a topic of debate in the industry. Producers, directors, and even some actors are constantly raising concerns about this issue. Many celebrities, including Priyadarshan, Taapsee Pannu, John Abraham, and Sanjay Gupta, have expressed their displeasure on this issue.

Nana Patekar recently appeared in the web series "Sankalp," directed by Prakash Jha. The show, which streams on MX Player, also stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Sanjay Kapoor, Neeraj Kabi, and Kubbra Sait in pivotal roles.
