Global star Priyanka Chopra recently spoke candidly about her early career at an event. She revealed that when she was a new actress, she was very ambitious and would say yes to any job that came her way.

According to a Times Now report, Priyanka said during the Bridge Summit in Abu Dhabi, "I wasn't selective at all in the early days of my career. I would take whatever work came my way because getting work is a big deal in itself. I was very greedy in my 20s. I wanted to work every day."

Priyanka explained that she made many sacrifices to achieve success. Priyanka said, "I didn't celebrate birthdays, Diwali, Christmas, or spend time with my family. I couldn't be with my father even when he was in the hospital. I had to work so hard at that age to be able to live the life I live today."

Priyanka is happy that her hard work has paid off. She said, "Today I have the luxury of choosing when to say yes to films and when to say no. If I hadn't worked so hard then, I wouldn't have this freedom. So I thank myself very much."

Currently, Priyanka is busy with director Rajamouli's film "Varanasi." She will be seen opposite Mahesh Babu in this film. Her Hollywood film "Heads of State" was recently released. Her Hollywood film "The Bluff" will be released in 2026.
