Taylor Swift enjoys the admiration of fans from all around the globe. Recently, she managed to achieve yet another milestone in her career. On Thursday, Taylor Swift became a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and thus became its youngest female member ever.
This happened when she turned thirty-six years old. Currently, Swift is a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame that consists of many famous singers and performers. Swift is the youngest member of the Hall of Fame, having beaten the previous record that belonged to Carole Bayer Sager who was forty-three years old when admitted in 1987.
The members of the Songwriters Hall of Fame are usually already established celebrities. One of such examples is Stevie Wonder who was admitted to the Hall of Fame in 1983 when he was thirty-two years old. This is the youngest celebrity that has been ever admitted to the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
There are several criteria for induction into the prestigious Songwriters Hall of Fame. Twenty years must have passed since the release of their first commercial song. Taylor Swift's song "Tim McGraw" was released in 2006. Taylor subsequently recorded 12 albums across various genres, for which she was honored with 14 Grammy Awards.
