Aarushi Bajaj, Piyush Khati, Bianca Arora and Ansh Duggal attended the Don’t Be Shy Fest trailer launch in Mumbai on Friday, September 11, 2026.

The Mumbai event was styled like a campus festival to match the film’s young-adult setting, with the lead cast present for the official trailer drop.

Don’t Be Shy is produced by Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt under Eternal Sunshine Productions and is written and directed by debut filmmaker Sreeti Mukerji.

Aarushi Bajaj plays Shyamili “Shy” Das, a fiercely independent 20-year-old who believes her internships, MBA and marriage plans are already mapped out.

Piyush Khati plays Mayank, Ansh Duggal plays Dhruv, and Bianca Arora plays Tara, whose arrival at college complicates Shy’s friendships and romance.

The film marks the acting debuts of Bajaj, Khati, Arora and Duggal, with supporting turns from Kunaal Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu, Neha Dhupia and Anju Alva Naik.
