Aamir Khan, a Bollywood celebrity, has recently tied the knot with his fiancé Gauri Spratt. It is his third marriage. Political controversy has begun over his marriage. The Minister from Maharashtra, Nitesh Rane, asked on Sunday whether the marriage of Aamir Khan should be termed as love jihad.

Speaking to reporters in Shirdi, Ahilyanagar district, Rane said, "When celebrities take such decisions in their personal lives, Hindu society should reflect on it. This is my opinion. Who is the brand ambassador of love jihad? Is Aamir Khan not becoming one?" Hindu youth who watch his films should form an informed opinion before promoting such actors.

Rane said that the debate is gradually gaining momentum on whether Khan's third marriage should be viewed from the perspective of 'love jihad'.

He said, "Hindu society should consider whether or not to watch the films of such people." He further said that those who consider such personalities celebrities should reconsider their opinions.

Aamir Khan married Gauri Spratt on July 5 in a private ceremony at his home in Bandra, Mumbai. This is Khan's third marriage.
Khan's first marriage was to Reena Dutta, which lasted from 1986 to 2002. His second marriage was to filmmaker Kiran Rao, which lasted from 2005 to 2021. Film superstar Aamir has not yet responded to Rane's comments.
