Mumbai, August 11 — Actor Ayushmann Khurrana appears to have traded the glitz of Bollywood for the raw natural beauty of Africa during an adventurous safari at Kenya’s Masai Mara.
The actor gave fans a glimpse of his “wild” and “filmy” getaway through a series of pictures and videos shared on social media. In the opening image he is seen posing beside a safari vehicle against a clear blue sky, sporting sunglasses and a rugged outdoor look.
“A little wild. A little filmy. #Africa #Mara,” he captioned the post.
Khurrana gave the wildlife moments a humorous Bollywood twist, linking each sighting to a familiar song. The video compilation shows giraffes roaming the grasslands, a lioness resting amid the bushes and another lioness unsuccessfully chasing a zebra.
For the resting lioness he sang “Sherni Baaga Ma Bole” instead of the original “Morni Baaga Ma.” For the giraffe footage he adapted “Beedi Jailaile” into a playful line referencing the animal.
On the career front, Khurrana made his Bollywood debut with Vicky Donor in 2012 and went on to establish himself through unconventional subject choices. He has headlined films including Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho, Article 15, Dream Girl, Bala and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.
The Masai Mara posts blend travel documentation with characteristic light-hearted showmanship, offering followers a lighthearted view of the actor’s time in the African wilderness.
