The makers of Drishyam 3 have dropped a critical announcement regarding their upcoming film release. It is the most-awaited thriller featuring Mohanlal in the leading role set to release in theaters on May 21, 2026. Movie enthusiasts will shortly witness the first teaser footage of this film. According to Mohanlal, the teaser trailer for Drishyam 3 will be unveiled on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 5 p.m. Additionally, the makers also revealed the official poster for this movie. It is seen here that Georgekutty is holding some farming implements in his hands.
It is pertinent to mention that Drishyam 3 is the third installment directed by Jeethu Joseph, featuring Mohanlal in the leading role. Jeethu has also written the script. Antony Perumbavoor is producing the project under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
The film will also feature reprises of several familiar characters from previous installments. Meena will once again play Georgekutty's wife Rani, while Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil will return as his daughters Anju and Anu. Asha Sharath and Murali Gopy are also part of the cast.
After its theatrical release, 'Drishyam 3' is expected to stream on Prime Video. According to reports, the platform has acquired the digital rights to the film.
