With the success of “Animal,” Bobby Deol has been working steadily on the big screen in the films from Bollywood to the South films. However, in times when he was facing trouble, Bobby Deol had taken to alcohol as a remedy. It affected his personal life too. Bobby understood the folly of what he was doing and quit alcohol consumption immediately. Recently, Bobby Deol has made some remarks about his facial features as well as body.

During an interview with Esquire India, Bobby said that for an actor, your body and face are the things you sell. I can't afford to mess with it. As I get older, I get tired faster than I did a few years ago. I have to take better care of myself.

I haven't been drinking alcohol for the past year and a half. Quitting alcohol has changed my surroundings. I don't even miss it during this time. In fact, I keep thinking, 'Oh, was it that easy? Two birthdays and two New Years have passed, and I haven't felt the urge to drink.' It surprised me.

Regarding his father Dharmendra's alcohol addiction, Bobby said, "I've seen what it can do. Quitting alcohol has helped me be physically and emotionally present at any time, in any situation. It's strengthened my relationship with my family the most."

On the work front, Bobby Deol was last seen in Aryan Khan's web series "The Bads of Bollywood," which released last year. Before that, he also appeared in Pawan Kalyan's film "Hari Har Veer Mallu." Bobby Deol has several films in the pipeline. Among them, "Jana Nayakan," which was scheduled to release earlier this year, is currently on hold.

Yash Raj's spy universe project "Alpha," also stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh in lead roles. Bobby Deol is currently preparing for the release of Anurag Kashyap's crime thriller "Bandar," which will hit theaters on May 22nd. The film has received critical acclaim at several film festivals.
