Recently, the actor from Bollywood film industry, Akshay Kumar was presented with an unexpected question by a journalist at a media function, which made him helpless to stop laughing.

It took place when he was announced as the new brand ambassador of Acer. A female journalist playfully said to him, "Everybody is selling saffron, are you selling Acer?"

Initially, Akshay Kumar got shocked by the question posed by the journalist, but then he started laughing. He did not reply to the question directly.

Akshay Kumar himself has previously been a part of Vimal's advertising campaign. However, after facing social media trolling for the ad, he distanced himself from the brand. Now, Vimal's advertisement is once again in the news, and this funny moment of Akshay's is attracting attention.

Indeed, a few days ago, news surfaced that Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff had been issued notices by the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for their appearances in Vimal Cardamom advertisements.

Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Munde told PTI that companies cannot be held solely responsible for misleading advertising. The Food Safety and Standards Regulations also provide for action against advertisements and false or misleading claims.

If an advertisement is found to violate these regulations, notices may be sent to the relevant individuals, seeking their response. Further action can then be taken as per the regulations.

Munde also clarified that responsibility can be assigned to those involved in the entire product process, including those involved in selling, storing, processing, or manufacturing the product.
