Actor Silambarasan TR, popularly known as Simbu, released the trailer of director Nani’s Delivery Boy on Monday. “Happy to present the trailer of #DeliveryBoy. Wishing @leosivakumar02, @realradikaa ma’am and the entire team lots of love and success,” he wrote.
“A Dream Come True”
For lead actor Leo Sivakumar, it was a special moment. “From admiring your films on the big screen to having my film’s trailer unveiled by you — this is truly a dream come true and the biggest fanboy moment of my life!” he wrote, thanking Simbu.
What the Trailer Reveals
The trailer opens with a police officer’s voiceover describing a dangerous gang of seven young men who served jail time for a murder and, after their release, joined a notorious criminal. Meanwhile, the hero is in love with a simple girl, and his mother, played by Radikaa Sarathkumar, wants him to marry her. When one of the seven is killed, the rest set out for revenge, and their target turns out to be the hero.
Why It Matters: More Action Than Expected
Earlier, director Nani had described the film as the story of a hardworking delivery boy trying to save his mother. The trailer adds a darker, action-driven layer: a revenge plot that puts the ordinary hero in the path of hardened criminals. The mix of family emotion and gangster action positions the film for a wider audience, from family viewers to action fans.
A Crowded Release Day
Delivery Boy arrives in theatres on October 23, the same day as Ayushmann Khurrana’s Udta Teer, Isha Malviya’s Tum Mere Ho and Prime Video’s Chaar Yaar.
The Bottom Line
With Simbu’s backing and a trailer that blends a mother’s love with a gang’s revenge, Delivery Boy is gearing up for a busy October 23.
