Bollywood star Salman Khan is considered to be a mentor to many Bollywood actors, as he has helped a lot of actors at the beginning of their careers. Very recently, Pulkit Samrat shared how fortunate he was to have some advice from the superstars at the beginning of his career.
During a conversation with Variety India, Pulkit Samrat revealed how the advice of the superstar helped him overcome anxiety regarding his first film Bittoo Boss. Salman's words taught him a crucial lesson on how to handle success and failure.
Recalling the days leading up to the 2012 release of 'Bittoo Boss', Pulkit said, "I was extremely nervous, wondering how the audience would receive the film and my acting. Salman *bhai* simply looked at me and said, 'Pulkit, I am Salman Khan. Even I have no guarantee regarding my next Friday (the release of my next film). So, who do you think you are? What will you achieve by stressing over this?'"
The actor mentioned that those few words instantly changed his perspective on the uncertainty of the film industry. He said, "It made me realize that if someone of Salman Khan's stature has no guarantee of box-office success for his next film, then I have no reason to harbor that kind of stress."
Pulkit Samrat recently appeared in Netflix's 'Glory', earning praise from the audience. He has also played a role in Homi Adajania's 'Cocktail 2'.
