The teaser for this year’s most awaited movie, Ramayana, is out. It shows Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, including scenes where he stays in the palace and goes into exile. There are quick glimpses of Ravana too. At the teaser launch event for Ramayana, Ranbir Kapoor, Nitesh Tiwari, and Namit Malhotra were present and spoke about the movie.
At the teaser launch event for 'Ramayana,' Ranbir Kapoor said, "I don't think I'm here to represent Rama. I'm here to learn from him." There's a simplicity and purity in him that's rarely seen. It's been a rewarding experience for me to try to understand and imbibe that."
At the teaser launch event for "Ramayana," the film's director, Nitesh Tiwari, spoke about the story of "Ramayana," saying, "Rama's journey is deeply human. We've tried to stay true to that. Essentially, "Ramayana" isn't just about good and evil, but about the obligation to do what's right."
"Ramayana" producer Namit Malhotra said about Lord Rama, "Lord Rama chooses truth over comfort, sacrifice over self. That's why his story has endured for thousands of years. The strength of Rama's story lies not in what he conquered, but in what he gave up. He represents an ideal that isn't easy, isn't convenient, but is necessary."
Keep in mind that the upcoming film "Ramayana" stars Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. "Ramayana" is scheduled to be released in two parts. The first part will be released on Diwali in 2026, while the second part will be released on Diwali in 2027.
