Avinash Tiwari, an actor, is due to feature in his upcoming movie "Ginny Weds Sunny 2". The trailer of this family movie has just been released. According to Avinash, there is a lack of family entertainment films. He feels that films like "Ginny Weds Sunny 2" need to continue making and discusses why this genre of film is rare in the Hindi film industry.

At the trailer launch of "Ginny Weds Sunny 2," Avinash Tiwari was asked about the lack of family entertainers in Bollywood. Reflecting on the reasons behind this, he said that many good films are being made, and we should go and see them. But if I look at it, there are a lot of migrants in Mumbai. People come here from different places, go out with friends and partners, so the concept of joint family has diminished due to migration.

The actor also said that ticket prices are also high, and we have stopped thinking about making films for the masses in this bandwidth. Even at home, I asked my sister-in-law which of my films she has shown to the children.

She said, "In one, you are going crazy (Laila Majnu), in another, the witch has come (Bulbul), so how can these children show them to the people." Then I realized that my own children are not watching my films. This affected me a lot. I was also pretending that I have done a lot of different work.

But somewhere, that thing is disappearing from our thinking; family is an idea. The environment has become a little more individualistic. We hope to bring families back to the theaters with this film.

Avinash recalled that the last film he saw with his family was "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" in 2023. He said, "It's been so long since a film has been released that we can go and see with our families. I don't know why we're not paying attention to this. We say tickets aren't selling, but if we make a family film, six tickets are sold when the whole family comes. If I'm making a film, why don't I pay attention to this, why don't I think about this, is beyond me."
