Producer-director-screenwriter and actor Anurag Kashyap commended the dedication shown by Ranveer Singh in the movie "Dhurandhar," but he made it clear that this was not something new to Ranveer because he had already gone beyond his limits in "Lootera."

According to a report in the Hindustan Times, Anurag Kashyap recalled an interesting anecdote from his earlier film "Lootera," saying, "In the climax scene of Lootera, Ranveer gets shot. To make the pain feel real, Ranveer, without telling anyone, clipped a clip to his stomach." He performed the scene with such intensity that he had to be taken to the hospital.

Anurag further said, "Ranveer didn't share his pain with anyone. No one knew until he couldn't walk. 'Lootera' didn't earn as much as 'Dhurandhar', but Ranveer's passion is the biggest thing."

Currently, Ranveer Singh is enjoying the success of his film 'Dhurandhar 2'. 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' was released on March 19, and so far, the film's total India net collection has reached ₹1,048.42 crore. The film's worldwide gross collection has reached ₹1,665.23 crore. Along with Ranveer, the film also stars R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, and Arjun Rampal.

Anurag Kashyap is known for hit films like 'Gangs of Wasseypur'. His recent films are "Kennedy" and "Nishanchi". Anurag Kashyap is also in the Telugu film "Dakait" starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles.
