Kajal Aggarwal is an actress who has been featured in movies in both South Indian cinema as well as in Hindi cinema. In fact, she recently discussed the reasons behind her opting for the South Indian cinema over Bollywood, as well as some lessons that Hindi cinema can learn from the South. She also stated that she had to wait for a long time during filming because of Salman Khan.

During an interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Kajal Aggarwal revealed why she turned down a lot of offers from Bollywood. According to her, the roles offered to her in South Indian cinema were of a much higher quality as compared to Hindi cinema. She stated that she was getting the kind of roles she desired in the South, so she did not want to settle for mediocre roles in Bollywood.

When asked what Bollywood should learn from South Indian cinema, she said, "Bollywood should learn punctuality from the South. In Hindi films, nothing happens on time. In the South, they work according to the clock. I am used to arriving on time."

Kajal, who worked with Salman Khan in 'Sikandar', revealed that she was excited to share screen space with the superstar. However, she noted, "Salman Khan made me wait the longest. I wondered what was happening. He would arrive around the afternoon or evening, so I used to go to the gym. The gym was right there on the set. I am accustomed to the punctuality and discipline of South Indian cinema."

Kajal will next be seen in 'The India Story'. Directed by Chetan DK, the film also features Shreyas Talpade in a lead role. It is scheduled to release on July 24.
