The popular rapper Offset has recently been in the headlines after being attacked by gunfire outside a hotel in Hollywood, Florida. His spokesperson has confirmed this report, explaining the current situation that the musician is going through. They wrote in a statement, "We can confirm that Offset has been shot. He is currently receiving treatment at the hospital. His condition is stable, and he is under close observation."
According to reports, Offset suffered minor injuries and is now out of danger. Authorities also issued a statement detailing the incident. They say the incident occurred near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The Seminole Police Department told the media, "We are aware of an incident that occurred in the Valle area outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood just after 7 p.m. Monday evening." One person sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.
He further stated, "Police arrived at the scene immediately after the incident, and the situation was quickly brought under control. Police have two people in custody. The investigation is ongoing. The scene is secure, and there is no threat to the public. Business is proceeding as normal."
Offset came to fame as a part of the Atlanta rap group called Migos. This group was formed in 2008 by Quavo and Takeoff, who went on to become some of the most successful artists of their time, topping the music charts in the 2010s with tracks such as “Motor Sport” and “Walk It Talk It.” Offset is officially named Kiari Kendrell Cephus and has six kids, three from his marriage with rapper Cardi B.
