Karan Johar’s celebrity talk show “Koffee with Karan” is returning for its ninth season, which is billed as the last one. The premiere is scheduled for October 14. A new promo, shared by Johar, has already got fans talking because it features Salman Khan.

What the Promo Shows

In the promo, Salman says he is coming to “Koffee with Karan.” Johar then invites viewers to watch the show with him on October 14. The promo does not say whether Salman will be on the opening episode or appear later in the season, including the finale.

Salman’s Earlier Appearances

This would not be Salman’s first time on the couch. According to the report, he has appeared twice before, once with his father Salim Khan and once with his brothers Arbaaz and Sohail. The report says he shared several anecdotes from his life on those occasions, which drew wide attention.

What It Could Mean

If Salman headlines the first episode, it could give the season a strong start, and viewers are generally curious about his personal life. Whether that translates into high ratings can only be judged once viewership data is released.

Why It Matters

A final season gives the show a built-in sense of occasion, and securing a rare talk-show guest like Salman signals that the makers want a high-profile send-off. For viewers, the open question of when he will appear may keep them tuned in from the first episode.
