Actress Sonakshi Sinha has returned with her next courtroom thriller movie titled “System.” This Tuesday, the trailer of the upcoming movie System was launched. Sonakshi Sinha will be seen playing the role of a lawyer in the movie.
The two-minute long trailer begins with the protagonist of the film who is named Neha. Neha is an ambitious lawyer who is desperate to make a name for herself at her father’s law firm. To achieve this, her father (Ashutosh Gowariker) challenges her to take on a difficult case.
To strengthen her fight, Neha brings in Sarika (Jyotika). Sarika is a sharp and cunning courtroom stenographer who seems to have ulterior motives. Neha asks Sarika to help her through unfair means.
But then, the story unfolds, making it interesting. The trailer reveals many layers to the story. It's not always what it seems. The trailer also features a line that says, "In this world, we all hide our true selves." The trailer depicts Sonakshi's struggle with the system, which is confirmed by the line, "The voice of the poor gets lost in the noise of the rich."
"System" is directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who has previously directed films like "Nil Battey Sannata" and "Barfi." "System" explores themes of ambition, revenge, morality, and the pursuit of justice. The film is produced by Pammi Baweja, Harman Baweja, and Smita Baliga.
Apart from Sonakshi Sinha, the film also stars Ashutosh Gowariker, Jyotika, Preeti Agarwal, Adinath Kothare, Ashriya Mishra, Gaurav Pandey, and Sayandeep Sengupta in pivotal roles. The story is written by Harman Baweja, Arun Sukumar, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Tasneem Lokhandwala, and Akshat Ghildial. "System" will stream on the OTT platform Prime Video from May 22nd.
