Recently even Shalini Pandey shared one incident that had happened with her and made her very upset. Even she narrated about setting limits from the very start to safeguard herself.
In her recent conversation with Filmgyan, the actress told about an incident, when she was changing clothes, and a director came inside her van without knocking. Recalling the incident, the actress said, “Early in my career, I was doing a South Indian film. The director of the film came into my van without knocking. I was changing clothes at that time. He opened the door and came in. I was completely terrified by this incident. I shouted at the director. This was my first reaction because I couldn't understand anything. I couldn't even imagine that this could happen, so I got scared and I shouted at him.”
Further explaining the incident, Shalini said, “I was only 22 years old at that time. I went mad. When the director left, people told me that I should not have shouted at him. But you think yourself, this is not the way to get in. Just because I am new, you cannot come in without knocking. You cannot do this to me. Later I realised that this is something that I carry with me. I used to look like an angry person to people, but I had to do this to protect myself.”
