Veteran Hollywood actor Pierce Brosnan has now revealed that it was always his desire to play the character of the legendary headmaster Dumbledore of the Harry Potter series. The 72-year-old actor said that with his hair now white, the experiences of life are now clearly visible on his face and now his focus has become more directed towards this lead role.
While talking to the Daily Telegraph, he said, "My hair has turned white, and life experiences are now clearly visible on my face and shoulders. It is joked in my family that I am now about to enter the age of Dumbledore. I don't want this to happen right now, but if I am asked to play this role, I will probably say yes."
Pierce Brosnan also said that he is already ready for this role. Especially now that his life and experience have matured with his age. He says, "The role of Dumbledore has always been attractive to me, especially since I have grown older and there has been a new maturity in my identity."
