Regarding online trolling, Akanksha said, "I'm currently the queen of trolling. I've always been open about this topic. Gaurav is a little cautious because he wants to protect my image. There's an age difference between us, and he's smart enough to understand me. I've clearly stated that I don't choose motherhood. It's my personal decision, and I don't need to justify it to anyone." Regarding accusations of seeking the limelight, she said, "I go to parties and events with Gaurav because I'm his partner, and it's his choice to include me. In a relationship, you don't compete with each other; you support each other. There's no comparison between us." Gaurav is far more successful than me, and why should I feel insecure about my partner's success? He wants me with him, so where does the question of insecurity even arise?

In the caption, she wrote, "When we thought we were ready, we weren't."
