Amar Kaushik Opens Up About His Dream Project ‘Mahavatar’ with Vicky Kaushal

Amar Kaushik, the filmmaker behind movies such as "Stree," "Bhediya," "Stree 2," and "Bala," is in the news for his new film, "Mahavatar." He is producing this film along with Vicky Kaushal. He recently addressed the film, stating that "Mahavatar" is a very big responsibility. It's a film he has always wanted to do.

Director Amar Kaushik added that the plans for "Mahavatar" are being made, and the staff is designing costumes and sets. Next year, they will start shooting the movie.

In an interview with PTI, Amar Kaushik said, "This film is a huge responsibility for me in my career." It's a divine gift because this character has been with me since childhood. We lived near Parshuram Kund in Arunachal Pradesh, and we used to go there. It was a ritual at home... Whenever I went there, I was mesmerized."

Kaushik said, "I didn't know how to make it because it required money and VFX. I also wanted to make sure it lived up to the vision I had in mind. I'm very excited to work with Vicky. Every time I meet him, I see a lot of purity in him. He's the perfect actor to play this character. We'll shoot it next year; we're waiting for Vicky to come. Then, he'll prepare for it."

The filmmaker's next film as a producer is "Shakthi Shalini," an upcoming film in the Maddock horror-comedy universe. Films like "Stree," "Bhediya," "Stree 2," "Munjya," and "Thama" have been released under this banner. "Saiyaara" star Anit Padda is playing the lead role in "Shakthi Shalini."
