Siddharth P. Malhotra who directed Ikka is set to release his movie soon. Recently in an interview, he complimented actor Akshaye Khanna saying that Akshaye Khanna should do more films due to his talent.

Akshay Khanna's film 'Ikka' is going to be released soon. Filmmaker Siddharth P. Malhotra praised the actor in an interview with IANS, saying, "For me, Akshaye Khanna has always been a great actor. I have been admiring his work for many years. I really hope he gets more films because he deserves them." He is very talented and brings tremendous depth to every role. For me, he is a great actor who deserves more films.

Actor Akshaye Khanna took a break from acting for several years. Last year, he made a comeback to the silver screen with a bang. First, in early 2025, he played the role of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in Vicky Kaushal's film "Chava."
Then, at the end of the year, he captivated everyone with his portrayal of Rehman the dacoit in Aditya Dhar's "Dhurandhar." Whether it was Akshay's dialogue, scene, or dance moves, everything from the film went viral on social media. Now, he will soon be seen in a negative role in Siddharth P. Malhotra's "Ikka."

"Ikka" is a courtroom drama. While Sunny Deol will be seen in his "Damini" style, Akshay will be seen standing in the dock. Dia Mirza and Sanjeeda Sheikh will also be seen in important roles in the film. This film will be released on OTT platform on 10 July 2026.
