Both online fraud and harassment are rampant in today’s world. Individuals, including well-known actors like Akshay Kumar, are victims. In the last year, Akshay Kumar's daughter Nitara has been subjected to obscene messages sent by an anonymous individual. Today, a suspect in the crime has been apprehended by the Maharashtra Cyber Department.

In a unique cyber awareness event conducted at R.D. National College in Mumbai, the Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Yashasvi Yadav, said the actor himself shared this information during his address.

It is important to note that in October 2025, Akshay Kumar shared an incident in which he said his daughter was playing an online game when someone unknown to her addressed her in such a polite manner. Everything seemed normal at first. He was sending her normal messages, like, "You're playing well" or "You played well." But suddenly, he started asking personal questions.

Akshay explained that when the man realized he was talking to a girl, he made extremely inappropriate demands, asking for obscene photos. Hearing this, his daughter immediately stopped playing and went to her mother (Twinkle Khanna) to tell her everything.

Akshay Kumar said that this was the moment that taught him how cybercrime can start slowly. He also said that sometimes children get caught up in such things, which can lead to blackmail and even serious situations.

On the work front, Akshay's "Bhoot Bangla" is currently in theaters. The film has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The film is also progressing slowly at the box office.

Akshay's upcoming films include "Haiwaan" with Priyadarshan and Ahmed Khan's "Welcome to the Jungle." "Haiwaan" will see him co-star with Saif Ali Khan after nearly 18 years. "Welcome to the Jungle" is a multi-starrer.
