A recent blog entry by Jake Reiner, the son of Rob Reiner, has seen him talk about his suffering, the suffering of his family and his alleged brother Nick. The blog post was made two months after their death.

Jake Reiner in his blog said that he was undergoing mental strain after the death of his parents. He said that he had lost most of his family within a single night and trying to make sense out of everything.

Jake also said that this case was receiving public attention but none of the family suffering could be publicized until the process has ended. This is when Jake brought up his brother Nick Reiner, who is being accused. He says that since his brother Nick has become the focus of the case regarding his parents' deaths, his grief has only increased.

Hollywood filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner and his wife, Michelle Renner, were found dead under suspicious circumstances at their Los Angeles home on December 14, 2025. Stabbing marks were found on both their bodies. Suspicion fell on Rob Reiner and Michelle's son, Nick Renner, and he was arrested. Nick Renner recently appeared in court in this case. Nick Renner has declared himself innocent. The next hearing in this case is scheduled for April 29th.
