The actress Sonam Bajwa has been in news recently regarding her upcoming comedy-drama film "Pitt Siyapa." Sonam would be playing the lead role in this movie. In the recent past, Sonam gave some comments about her interaction with the paparazzi whenever they requested pictures from her.
In a conversation with ANI, Sonam Bajwa said that when paparazzi ask her for photos, she doesn't know how to react. The actress said, "I laugh out loud. I don't know what to do in front of them. They even wait outside the salon." I can't refuse them. But I'm so shy, I don't know how to pose for them if I've just come out of the salon. The paparazzi are so cool. They make you laugh so much. I think people might wonder, 'Why does she keep laughing in front of the paparazzi?' I really enjoy talking to them. I like meeting them sometimes.
However, the actress also said that sometimes the paparazzi even enter private places. She said, "But sometimes, you've just woken up. You haven't even had a cup of coffee. You're late for the gym. As soon as you get to the gym, you see the paparazzi. Your face is swollen.
You might not have slept the night before. You might not have drunk enough water. But the paparazzi are waiting for you." The actress explained how deeply ingrained the paparazzi culture is in Mumbai. "Everyone becomes alert." Imagine if I caught you within 30 minutes of waking up. You wouldn't like it. It happens.
But I think it's part of our job. This culture has become established now. Mumbai has a paparazzi culture. So, I always tell myself to always be prepared that the paparazzi will be there, no matter where you go.
Recalling the advice of close friend Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam said, "Jacqueline once told me, 'Those HD zooming cameras are dangerous. Always be aware that they might use them.' But still, people forget. I forget too. Sometimes I say, 'The paparazzi are carrying wildlife photography cameras.'
So, be prepared. Or wear a mask. This is a great way. Jacqueline herself follows this. She mostly wears a mask. But the paparazzi are very nice. There have been times when I've requested them, 'Please don't take my pictures today.'" I'm not feeling well. They always listen to me. They always respect it. And I'm very grateful for that.
On the work front, Sonam Bajwa will next be seen in the upcoming Punjabi comedy-drama "Pit Siyapaa," directed by Rupinder Chahal. The film, slated for release on May 1, also stars Sonam Bajwa alongside Paramveer Singh Cheema in lead roles. The story revolves around Nimmi, played by Sonam.
