Hanuman Ansh has delivered a strong result on its 56th day. According to Sacnilk, the film earned around ₹4 crore on Thursday, roughly ₹2 crore more than Wednesday's collection. The rise came on the very day Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 3 opened in theatres, which makes the timing notable.
The Numbers
After collecting ₹410 crore worldwide in 55 days, the film now stands at ₹414 crore worldwide. Its domestic net collection has reached ₹317.33 crore, with a domestic gross of ₹374.80 crore. The overseas market has contributed ₹39.20 crore. The film released overseas on September 11 and has drawn appreciation from audiences abroad as well as in India.
A Surprise Blockbuster of 2026
Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh is based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba. It started slowly, but its pace picked up later and it went on to outperform several releases, including The One, Daayraa, Vibe, Awaarapan 2, Toxic and Haiwaan. Trade reports describe it as the year's surprise blockbuster. For a film made on a modest budget, a run that continues into its ninth week stands out in a market where most films fade within a few weekends.
The Drishyam 3 Challenge
The next phase will be harder. Drishyam 3, one of Bollywood's most successful franchises, has now arrived, and a big suspense thriller with Ajay Devgn is likely to take a large share of screens and audience attention. How much Hanuman Ansh's weekday earnings hold up in the coming days will show whether its word-of-mouth support is strong enough to survive a major new release.
