Priyadarshan just finished directing the film Bhoot Bangla and is busy with Haiwaan. On the other hand, film producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala revealed that Priyadarshan will not be directing the third Hera Pheri film. He also mentioned his connections with actors such as Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal.
In an interview with Variety India, Firoz said about his relationship with Akshay Kumar, "Our relationship is like a brotherhood. It transcends money and pressure. Our relationship dates back to 1996-97. It's based on living and working together, and that's what our relationship is."
Praising Paresh Rawal, Firoz A. Nadiadwala said, "There are no words in the dictionary to describe Paresh Bhai. He is amazing. His ideas, support, and efforts go beyond the average person. There's something spiritual about his way of working."
When asked about the current status of "Hera Pheri 3," Firoz responded briefly but reassuringly. He said, "Everything is on track and moving in the right direction."
When asked if Priyadarshan would return to direct the project, Firoz gave a straightforward and clear answer, leaving no room for speculation. He said, "No, Priyadarshan is not a part of it."
The original "Hera Pheri," inspired by the Malayalam film "Ramji Rao Speaking," was a hit and has remained a favorite ever since. "Phir Hera Pheri" also received widespread love. Now there is talk about making its third installment.
