Kajol has portrayed the role of an affectionate mother numerous times in films. In real life, she is a parent to a girl, Nysa and a boy called Yug. While Nysa was in her teenage years, she and Kajol did not get along well and even argued at times. Recently, Kajol told us how they started getting along.

Recently, Kajol spoke about her gen-ji daughter, Nysa, and the challenges of raising her on Lilly Singh's podcast. She said, "I talk to her a lot. I explain everything to her. It's a relationship we've had to build together." When she became a teenager, we were both very troubled. We would fight, and sometimes we would say things without thinking. Sometimes we would both say things irrationally.

Kajol further says, "Being the adult, I took the initiative. I told myself that I should be a little more sensible. I decided that I wouldn't fight with Nysa anymore. I would try to talk to her. I would keep talking to her until she started listening to me. Gradually, this approach turned into conversations, long conversations between us. This made the biggest difference. This was my biggest lesson in parenting."

Talking about Kajol's upcoming film, she will be seen in "Maharagini." Last year, she played strong characters in films like "Maa" and "Sarzameen." She also appeared on the talk show "Too Much" with Twinkle Khanna. Bollywood celebs used to come to this show and reveal many of their secrets.
