Mumbai, September 5: Actress Mouni Roy marked Janmashtami with a spiritual social media post, sharing pictures from a meeting with motivational speaker Gaur Gopal Das.

In the photos, Mouni is seen in a white-and-red traditional saree, hair tied back and adorned with flowers, posing alongside Gaur Gopal Das, who is dressed in a saffron outfit.

Sharing the post, Mouni wrote: "The happiest people are those helping others. Had the great fortune of conversing with Prabhu at length on the auspicious day of Janmashtami. Some conversations just stay with you... this one felt cathartic, deeply poetic in its own way, and left me happier and more fulfilled."

Mouni began her acting career in 2006 with Ektaa Kapoor's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, playing Krishna Tulsi. She went on to appear in Kasturi, Pati Patni Aur Woh, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev and Naagin — the last of which, as Shivanya, established her as one of television's most recognised faces. Her portrayal of Goddess Parvati in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev also drew wide attention, and she showcased her dancing skills on reality shows Zara Nachke Dikha and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

On the film side, she has featured in Gold, Romeo Akbar Walter, Made in China, London Confidential, Velle, Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva, Blackout and The Bhootnii, along with special appearances in KGF: Chapter 1 and Vedaa.

Separately, reports last month suggested Mouni had been approached by the makers of Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 20 as a potential contestant. There has been no official confirmation from her side so far.
