Bollywood actress Mouni Roy offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi during the ongoing holy month of Sawan, a period considered especially sacred for devotees of Lord Shiva. The 'Naagin' star shared the visit through a series of Instagram Stories on Sunday, giving fans an unfiltered, behind-the-scenes look at her pilgrimage rather than a polished, pre-planned post — a format increasingly favoured by celebrities for moments meant to feel personal.
In one of the clips, Mouni is seen navigating the narrow lanes of Varanasi in a rickshaw alongside a friend, soaking in the city's chaotic, spiritual energy before heading to the temple for darshan. She spoke about how moved she felt by the experience, even as she juggled the practical anxiety of making it back in time for her flight.
