Popular social media star Faisal Shaikh, known to millions as Mr Faisu, has announced his wedding. Sharing photos from his nikah in Madinah, he wrote on Instagram:
“‘And We created you in pairs’ (Quran 78:8). Alhamdulillah for a dream turned into reality. Nikah in the beautiful city of Madinah, with my entire family by my side. A blessing beyond words.”
“Please keep us in your duas as we begin this beautiful journey together. May Allah bless our marriage with endless love and barakah. Ameen,” he added.
Inside the Ceremony
The photos show Faisu in a white sherwani and his bride in a red and white sharara. In one picture, the couple sign the wedding register; in another, Faisu kisses his bride on the forehead. Another frame shows the newlyweds looking out at Madinah from the wedding hall.
Faisu has not officially revealed his bride’s name in his post.
Why It Matters: A Private Moment, Shared With Millions
Faisu built his fame by sharing everyday moments with a massive online audience. Yet for his wedding, he chose a quiet, faith-centred ceremony in Madinah, one of Islam’s holiest cities, surrounded only by family. The contrast between a very public career and a deeply personal ceremony is what made the announcement resonate with fans.
Industry Wishes
Several celebrities congratulated the couple in the comments. Rubina Dilaik wrote, “Big Congratulations… God Bless you,” while Abhishek Malhan said, “So happy for you broski... Congratulations.” Prince Narula, Dhanashree Verma, Urvashi Dholakia, Gaurav Khanna and Ridhi Dogra also sent their wishes.
From Short Videos to Stardom
Faisu rose to fame through short-form videos and went on to become one of India’s most-followed digital creators, later appearing on television reality shows.
The Bottom Line
For Mr Faisu, a life lived largely online has entered a new, deeply personal chapter, one he began, as he wrote, with family by his side and prayers for barakah.
