Jasmine Sandlas knows exactly how she wants to be remembered. In a new Instagram post, the singer shared her hope of building a body of work centred on one emotion.

"I wanna sing a 100 songs about Love and in a 100 years if anyone even remembers me, I want to be known as the girl who sang about love," she wrote, alongside photos of herself in a white dress.

Why It Matters: A Shift in Image

For many listeners, Jasmine's name is tied to high-energy party tracks like "Illegal Weapon" and "Bamb Jatt", or the swagger of "Yaar Naa Miley" from Kick. Her wish to be remembered for love songs signals how she sees her own journey: not just as a club-hit voice, but as a singer of feeling.

Her recent work already points in that direction. On the Dhurandhar: The Revenge album, she sang "Main Aur Tu", released as the album's second single on March 17, 2026, and the Punjabi duet "Jaiye Sajana", written and sung with Satinder Sartaaj. She also lent her voice to tracks including "Aari Aari", "Rang De Lal (Oye Oye)" and "Vaari Jaavan".

A Dream Collaboration

"Jaiye Sajana" carried personal meaning for her. Speaking about it earlier, she called working with Sartaaj a dream come true. "I am such a big fan and I deeply adore his music. My mom is so happy and that is my biggest victory," she said.

She also credited composer Shashwat Sachdev for pushing her as a writer. "You pushed me to my limits to write these songs," she said.

Moments From "The Dream Girl Tour"

Jasmine is currently on "The Dream Girl Tour", and recently shared a favourite moment from her Bengaluru concert. "This moment was unreal and ethereal. This is one of my top favourite moments from 'The Dream Girl Tour.' It was in Bangalore," she wrote.

She also revealed that she prefers videos shot by fans in the crowd to professionally curated footage, because they let her hear the audience singing along and fee l their emotions more closely.

Her Hits So Far

Her popular songs include "Yaar Naa Miley" (Kick), "Illegal Weapon" and "Illegal Weapon 2.0" with Garry Sandhu, "Patt Lai Geya", and collaborations such as "Bamb Jatt" and "Mithi Mithi" with Amrit Maan, which have given her a strong following among Punjabi and Bollywood listeners.

The Bottom Line

Jasmine Sandlas built her name on chart-busting energy, but her heart, she says, lies in love songs. With "Jaiye Sajana" and "Main Aur Tu" adding to her catalogue, she is already on her way to that hundred.
