Isha Malviya has reunited with singer-composer Sanju Rathod for "Nakhre," a lively Marathi-style track from the upcoming film Tum Mere Ho. The song also features Gurmeet Choudhary opposite her.
"Nakhre has such a fun and youthful vibe. Reuniting with Sanju for this song was really special, and I loved the Marathi sound of the track. Gurmeet and I had a great time shooting it, especially the hookstep," Isha said.
What Gurmeet and Sanju Said
"Nakhre has a very different energy and it was really fun to shoot for the song. Sanju has brought his Marathi style to the track, which gives it a very fresh feel," Gurmeet said.
Sanju Rathod added, "I enjoyed bringing my Marathi sound to the track and working on a song with such a lively beat. The hookstep makes it even more fun, and I'm really happy with how the song has turned out."
Why It Matters: A Viral Partnership Goes Big-Screen
The Isha–Sanju pairing has a proven track record online. Their first collaboration, "Shaky" (2025), topped global YouTube charts, and in April 2026 they released "Bangles," their second song together. "Nakhre" makes it three, and this time it is part of a feature film.
Sanju Rathod's rise has been built on viral Marathi pop. His 2024 hit "Gulabi Sadi" became a dance-floor favourite and won Best Marathi Song at the Indian Independent Music Awards. Bringing his sound into a Hindi film shows how regional pop is increasingly finding a place in mainstream Bollywood soundtracks.
Who Is Isha Malviya?
Isha made her name on television with Udaariyaan, where she played a dual role: the antagonistic Jasmine and the virtuous Harleen. She gained wider attention as a contestant on Bigg Boss 17, and has since appeared in popular music videos, including "Shaky." Tum Mere Ho marks her move into Bollywood, and she is reported to have signed three films ahead of her debut.
Who Is Gurmeet Choudhary?
Gurmeet is best known on television for playing Rama in Ramayan (2008), Maan Singh Khurana in Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi, and Yash in Punar Vivaah. He also won Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2012. In films, he has starred in Khamoshiyan (2015), Wajah Tum Ho (2016) and Paltan (2018), and led the series Commander Karan Saxena (2024).
About Tum Mere Ho
Tum Mere Ho is Isha's Bollywood debut and her first film with Gurmeet. Directed by Aashish Panda, it is produced by Reva Creative House and DebGuru Films, the banner run by Gurmeet and his wife Debina Bonnerjee. The film is billed as an intense love story with action and adventure.
Its music is by Mithoon, Sanju Rathod, Vivek Verma, Krish and Uddipan Sharma, released by Saregama, with distribution by PVR Pictures.
A Crowded October 23
Tum Mere Ho releases on October 23, the same day as Ayushmann Khurrana's Udta Teer, setting up a clash between a debut romance and a spy comedy just after Dussehra.
The Bottom Line
With a viral music partnership now on the big screen and a fresh lead pair, "Nakhre" gives Tum Mere Ho an energetic push ahead of Isha Malviya's Bollywood debut.
