Mumbai, July 31 — Singer Shaan has returned with a new track titled Dildara, recorded with Deedar Kaur, and said he wanted the song to feel intimate, warm and effortless, capturing the sense of two people becoming absorbed in each other’s presence.
Sharing his thoughts on the release, Shaan described the composition as “a song about the kind of love that quietly becomes a part of your every thought.” He added: “I wanted it to feel intimate, warm, and effortless, like two people getting lost in each other’s presence. I hope everyone who has ever been in love finds a little piece of their own story in this song.”
The singer, known for earlier hits such as Tanha Dil, Chand Sifarish and Hey Shona, collaborated with Deedar Kaur for the first time on the project. Kaur said the track carries a distinctive energy. “It is playful, emotional, and full of warmth, which made it such a joy to sing. Collaborating with Shaan for the first time has been incredibly special, and I hope listeners smile, sing along, and find a little bit of their own love story in this song,” she noted.
Composed by Uddipan Sharma with lyrics by Shloke Lal, Dildara is presented as a vibrant travel romance set against Thailand’s beaches, mountain roads and landscapes. The song blends playful romance, heartfelt emotion and a melodic hook intended to celebrate love, adventure and shared memories.
Dildara is now available on major audio streaming platforms and on the Times Music YouTube channel.
