Now, Ranbir Kapoor has finally responded to the demand for a sequel to "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani." Ranbir said that the film's ending was excellent and that a sequel should not be made. Ranbir said, "Many of you want a Part 2, but there are so many new films, new directors, and new ideas that can be explored. I think the ending of "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" was perfect. So, I don't think there's a need for a Part 2."

During the same conversation, Ranbir also talked about Ayan Mukerji's film "Brahmastra 2." He said, "Brahmastra 2 is in the works, we will start shooting that film very soon, sooner than you expect." This further increased the excitement around the film.
