Now, Ranbir Kapoor has finally responded to the demand for a sequel to "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani." Ranbir said that the film's ending was excellent and that a sequel should not be made. Talking about the possibility of a sequel to Ayan Mukerji's 2013 hit film, Ranbir said that he knows many fans want to see a Part 2, but he doesn't think the film needs one. "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" also starred Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur.
On Valentine's Day, Ranbir Kapoor went live on his venture ARKS's Instagram account and answered questions from his fans. He was also asked about his previous film, "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani," and what he would like to say about a sequel.
Ranbir said, "Many of you want a Part 2, but there are so many new films, new directors, and new ideas that can be explored. I think the ending of "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" was perfect. So, I don't think there's a need for a Part 2."
During the same conversation, Ranbir also talked about Ayan Mukerji's film "Brahmastra 2." He said, "Brahmastra 2 is in the works, we will start shooting that film very soon, sooner than you expect." This further increased the excitement around the film.
