Mumbai: Shreya Kalra, who won the reality show Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa along with a trophy and a prize of Rs 1 crore, has reflected on her victory, saying she came to play her own game and stayed true to herself.

Sharing a series of photographs with the trophy on social media, she wrote: “From dreaming about this moment to finally holding the trophy in my hands. But this victory isn’t mine alone. It belongs to every person who stood by me, believed in me, prayed for me, and loved me through every high and low, Especially my family.”

She added: “This trophy carries every sacrifice, every tear, every fight, every comeback and every moment when I chose to keep going. I came to play my game, I stayed true to myself, and today… I leave as the WINNER. To my family, my supporters and every single person who stood with me, This one is for all of us. Forever grateful. Forever blessed.”

Kalra lifted the trophy on August 5 in the grand finale of Lock Upp Season 2. Television actress Shivangi Joshi finished as the first runner-up, while Yogesh Rawat was the second runner-up. Ram Kapoor and Shilpa Shinde, both strong contenders, were eliminated close to the finish.

The second season was hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. It featured 14 inmates and two jailers over six weeks. Under the show’s format, inmates had to complete tasks to earn in-game currency needed for necessities such as food, supplies and privileges.

Shreya Kalra hails from Indore. She first appeared on the MTV reality show Roadies in 2020 as a wildcard contestant in Nikhil Chinapa’s team. She has also featured in the music video Zariya Tu alongside Paras Kalnawat.

Her post-finale message emphasised personal consistency and the role of family and supporters in sustaining her through the competition, framing the win as a shared outcome rather than an individual achievement alone.
