Recently, veteran actress Rakhi Gulzar had expressed joy over Aamir’s fresh beginning. She said that she does not keep up with Bollywood news, and has never acted in any movie with him. However, she considers him to be an honest individual.

Rakhi particularly praised the fact that Aamir still maintains a good friendship with both of his ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao.

Some people have raised questions on social media about Aamir's third marriage, but Rakhi Gulzar disagrees. She said, "What's wrong with getting married at 60? Robert De Niro has been married twice and is now in a relationship with his partner, Tiffany Chen, with whom he had a daughter in 2023. He had a child after the age of 80. Happiness in marriage has nothing to do with age. I also married Gulzar when he was around 40."

Aamir Khan also recently stated in an interview that he is currently in the US and the marriage news is absolutely true. She said that now she and Gauri feel they are ready to take their relationship to the next level.

Interestingly, Aamir first introduced Gauri Spratt to the world on his 60th birthday in 2025. He revealed that the two have known each other for about 25 years, but only became close again a year and a half ago.
