Craze for Nolan's next film, tickets for the first screening sold out in just one minute a year before its release

Famous Hollywood director Christopher Nolan is once again going to bring a special gift for cinema lovers. IMAX informed through its social media account on Thursday that as soon as the tickets for the initial screening of 'The Odyssey' opened for sale, they were completely sold out within minutes. The film will be released in theaters on July 17, 2026, but major theaters in America are already housefull for preview screenings from July 17 to 19, 2026.

'The Odyssey' will feature Hollywood's biggest starcast. Veteran stars like Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Anne Hathaway, and Charlize Theron will be seen in the film. The film was in the news even before the presence of such stars, but ticket booking has now also given proof that the film is going to be a hit as soon as it is released.

The most special thing about this project is that it is based on the Greek poet Homer's composition 'The Odyssey'. This epic depicts the exciting, mysterious and spiritual journey of the warrior Odysseus returning home from the Trojan War. Fans are very curious about how Nolan will present it.
